Background

Neha Sarwate associated with School of Environmental Design and Architecture as an Associate Professor in 2019. She has professional experience in both, private and government sectors, in the US and in India. She has over 10 years of academic experience in Architecture and Urban Planning in Gujarat. She is passionate about urban and environmental issues and is involved with various initiatives addressing the same.

  • G.D. Arch. (1994 – 2000), Academy of Architecture, University of Bombay, Bombay, India.
  • Has been invited as speaker in various national and international conferences and workshops.
  • Has authored and co-authored articles, papers and a book.
  • Guided students through Undergraduate and Postgraduate Thesis in Architecture and Urban Planning.
  • Conducted classes, studios, field visits and workshops in the areas of Housing, Urban Design, Ecological Planning, Urban and Regional Planning.
  • Areas of interest are Ecological Design, Urban Design, Gender and Ethics.
